Colonel Freddy Kemp – a good friend, sadly missed and always remembered

It is with a heavy heart that I hear about the death of Colonel Freddy Kemp. He was a good friend to our Royal British Legion Solicitors Group – so much so he was enrolled as an emeritus member.

He was a regular guest at the Poppy Ball and our annual Christmas lunch at the Army & Navy Club, Pall Mall, where he was due to join us at this year’s reunion.

We came to know Freddy especially well during his time with the Military Inquest Unit where he dealt with the fatal incidents arising out of Iraq and Afghanistan with great compassion. Our thoughts go to his family and children.

A good friend, sadly missed and always remembered.
