A highly attractive position has arisen for a qualified Personal Injury Solicitor and/or qualified Legal Executive to join our Multi-Track team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking practice with an excellent reputation within the industry.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Claimant Personal Injury and have  strong negotiating skills and be a confident litigator. We would expect a high level of technical skills and a proven track record in handling multi track cases to a successful conclusion. The role will initially involve working as an Assistant to a Directors dealing with high value claims with the successful candidate potentially building up their own multi-track caseload in due course, so ideally this would suit a solicitor 5 years + PQE or qualified FLEX with equivalent experience.


  • Ensure cases are progressed in a timely, efficient and proactive manner.
  • Liaising with clients, experts, barristers, third party solicitors as necessary.
  • Dealing with all aspects of pre and post issue procedures in a timely and cost effective manner. Pursuing cases to conclusion.
  • Ensuring all actions as per Proclaim Case Management Action List are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Reviewing and summarising medical and personnel records
  • Maintaining client files in good order in accordance with Lexcel requirements.
  • Managing a Proclaim Case Management task list in a timely manner
  • Accurate time recording.
  • Attending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases
  • Implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly.


  • Experience of drafting ITC, WS, bundles, arranging conferences, drafting applications, instructions to experts and Letters of Claim
  • A strong desire to work in this area of law and experience in handling Serious/Complex Trauma cases.
  • Clear understanding and application of Personal Injury Law.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent client care skills to include a good telephone manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to form and execute case planning and strategies
  • Keen analytical skills
  • Good organisational skills and able to effectively prioritise
  • Ability to form and execute case planning and strategies
  •  Experience in using Proclaim Case Management System is preferable but not necessary
  • Experience in supervision
  • Desire to work in a small team environment with a senior solicitor and others
  •  Desire to contribute to the growth and development of a dynamic team


  • Salary band is negotiable and competitive dependent on experience
  • 25 days holiday increasing each year to maximum 30 days (in addition to bank Holidays)
