Hilary Meredith shortlisted at Inspirational Women in Law Awards

Hilary Meredith, Chair of Hilary Meredith Solicitors, has been shortlisted for Solicitor of the Year at the Inspirational Women in Law Awards.

The Inspirational Women in Law Awards are run by First 100 Years, a ground-breaking project, supported by the Law Society and the Bar Council, charting the journey of women in law since 1919.

The project is powered by Spark21, a charity founded to celebrate, inform and inspire future generation of women in the profession

The Inspirational Women in Law Awards, Awards, now in their third year and hosted by Legal Week, seek to identify women leaders in law, in the lead up to the centenary of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919 which allowed women to enter into the legal and other professions for the first time.

The contribution and achievements of those entering will be celebrated at a ceremony and champagne and canape reception, hosted by Legal Week, on 29th November, from 5-7pm at County Hall, with speeches about the importance of the First 100 Years project from Christina Blacklaws, President of the Law Society of England and Wales and Dana Denis-Smith, founder of First 100 Years.
