Hilary Meredith Solicitors introduces new hybrid working policy

After a long lock down and working from home, we are back!

We have listened to our staff and feel the working environment will change for the better by the introducing a new hybrid working policy.

Staff at the firm will work remotely and from the firm’s Wilmslow office on a rota basis.

The approach has been introduced following a detailed consultation with staff to enable the firm to retain the best elements of office-based and remote working.

Commenting on the firm’s new policy, Chair Hilary Meredith-Beckham said: “Our new hybrid working model offers teams and individuals a dynamic and flexible way of working.

“We are acutely aware that more junior members of staff were not gaining the essential skills knowledge in listening to senior staff during the day, on the phone or in client meetings. A skills gap in a few years is likely without some form of office working environment.”

Continued Hilary: “In addition, whilst there is a permanent place for virtual meetings via zoom and teams, face to face meetings are crucial to gain insight into personal legal and medical issues and form a lasting rapport.

“At Hilary Meredith Solicitors, we place great importance on helping our people to strike the right balance between their work and family life, while continuing to deliver a great service to our clients.

“Our new policy combines the benefits of flexible working with the advantages of spending time together in the office. It also ensures our working patterns best support the needs of our clients.”
