Hilary Meredith sponsored wheelchair tennis player Jamie Burdekin is aiming to serve up Paralympic success in Rio after the games opened to a backdrop of colour and music last night.
Jamie, who won bronze in the quad doubles at Beijing 2008, is competing at his third Paralympic Games and has over 10 years’ experience of representing his country on the international stage.
A former Royal Marine, Jamie was injured in a car accident in Liverpool in 2000 when he was 21. He took up wheelchair tennis three years later and has since developed into one of the world’s best players.
Everyone at Hilary Meredith Solicitors will be cheering Jamie on as he goes for gold in Rio!
