On Armed Forces Day 2024, Hilary Meredith Solicitors pays tribute to the men and women who make up our armed forces community.
Throughout her 40-year legal career, our founder and chair Hilary Meredith-Beckham, has successfully championed the rights of military service personnel, veterans and their families. Hilary has acted in a range of precedent setting cases, provided key evidence to Parliamentary Inquiries and successfully campaigned for changes in the law.
Commenting on Armed Forces Day 2024, Hilary Meredith-Beckham said: “Through my work with servicemen and women throughout the world, I’ve witnessed the sacrifices made by our forces and their families all too often. It is an honour and a privilege to champion their cause.”
Supporting our sailors, soldiers and aviators goes beyond Armed Forces Day. The Government, local communities and businesses across the UK have committed to supporting Armed Forces personnel past and present by signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant. Hilary Meredith Solicitors was the very first law firm to sign the Armed Forces Covenant back in 2014.
Added Hilary: “Today is a chance for us all to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets.”
