At the end of last year, the NHS published updated guidelines on Sodium Valproate, commonly known by brand names including Epilim, Episenta and Depakote and licensed in the UK to treat epilepsy and bipolar disorder.

If you were prescribed Sodium Valproate and you took it prior to and during a pregnancy with the result that you believe your child suffered damage in utero, you or your child may be able to make a claim against the NHS.
In the first instance, please contact our specialist team at Hilary Meredith Solicitors.
