It’s no surprise that people are spurning national brands

Most private clients would rather go to a traditional local law firm rather than a national brand, according to a major annual market snapshot published today.

Personally I am not at all surprised by these findings. In my experience, clients much prefer the individual attention and client care provided by smaller niche firms rather than automation and anonymity of the large national brands dealing with cases in a standardised way.

I have always believed that every client and every case is different.  In my line of work, personal injury, every client is different and reacts, and recovers, from injury in different ways.   Some of the larger national brands treat their clients as if they are coming off a conveyor belt and simply cannot – or will not – provide the personal level of service that is required to truly make a difference.
